Credit Usage Dashboard

Beta feature

This feature is in beta. Your AlphaSense account team must enable it on your account before you can access the dashboard.

The Credit Usage dashboard is an admin-only view in the AlphaSense web app that shows how your organization is consuming its AI credit allocation. Use it to track spend against your contract, forecast whether you are on pace to exhaust your credits before renewal, and see usage broken down by individual user — all without writing any code.

Who can see it?

The dashboard is available to account administrators. If you have admin access but don't see it, contact your AlphaSense account team to confirm AI usage reporting is enabled for your account.

Prefer programmatic access?

The dashboard surfaces the same data the Credit Usage API returns. Use the dashboard for at-a-glance monitoring and exports; use the API to pull usage into your own systems, reports, or alerts.

Summary

The Summary panel gives you the headline numbers at a glance. Each card reflects your current contract period:

CardWhat it shows
Credits UsedCredits consumed so far, as a percentage and an absolute count (for example, 25% (2,500 / 10,000)).
Remaining Contract TimeHow much of the contract period is left, as a percentage with the contract end date (for example, 30%).
Remaining CreditsCredits still available for the rest of the contract period (for example, 7,500).
Contract End DateThe date your current credit allocation resets or your contract renews.

Reading Credits Used against Remaining Contract Time is the quickest pacing check: if you've used a larger share of your credits than of your contract period, you're trending toward running out early.

Cumulative & Projected Usage

This chart plots your credit consumption over the contract period so you can spot trends and forecast where you'll land. It overlays three series:

SeriesAppearanceMeaning
Cumulative UsageSolid lineActual credits consumed to date, accumulated month over month.
Projected UsageDashed lineAn extrapolation of your current run rate through the end of the contract.
Credit LimitDashed horizontalYour total credit allocation for the contract period.

The key thing to watch is where the projected line crosses the credit limit. If the projection crosses the limit before your contract end date, you're on pace to exhaust your credits early and may want to adjust usage or talk to your account team about additional capacity. If it stays below the limit through the end date, you have headroom.

note

Usage figures reflect credits consumed by AI features. For how each mode is metered, see Credits & Rate Limits.
